My name is Jonathan Robert and I am an illustrator/animator from Montreal.

Two decades ago, I’ve studied 2D animation, I’ve work in studios then I started being a freelance around 2015. Back then, I was gravitating a lot around the Montreal music scene. Playing in bands led me to work with other bands. I gained recognition through my collaborations, creating artwork that helped shape their visual identities. It started from designing posters to directing music videos.

My work is driven by nostalgia, textures and patterns. I like when it’s strange, sad and funny at the same time. I love comic books, movies, NFB & eastern european animation, animals, dinosaurs, a walk in the wood, cooking a good meal and playing guitar with my friends .
